So I have a jailbroken 3gs running on 3.0 and today this symbol randomly appeared in the top right corner next to the battery percentage. does anyone know what it is?

Also, for some reason, whenever i type (in mail or sms) each click sounds more like what it sounds like when you lock or open your iphone at the lock screen (its much thicker/heavier than the normal click). does anyone know whats going on?

Thanks, andrew

It's TTY I think. You should be able to disable it under Settings>Phonel>TTY toggle

Yes, it is TTY. Not the first time I've seen someone have this problem and I wonder how it gets toggled when they surely didn't change it to that.

Edit: Never mind on what I had wrote here earlier, misread your post on the clicks. However, sounds like whatever is used for the click sound has changed.

This will sound weird, but I think I know what your sound problem is.
Have you played a .wav file from your email?
When I did, my lock and unlock sounds got deeper.

If you did open a .wav file from your email, play a song or clip or something in another format (.mp3 or .aac) and it should fix it, iPod function should do it, does for me.
