And no I am not talking about digital here, this is straight up analog only.

Just looking to get some feedback besides Flickr folks on my site(s).

Originally started with just the stuff on the rightside under "Conversions" to help people, like me, who needed a resource to know how to work on Polaroid cameras:
http://option8.110mb.com/polaroid/

Then I added a FAQ to help with even more info:
http://option8.110mb.com/polaroid/faq/

Which evolved into merging it with another Polaroid info website into:
http://option8.110mb.com/polaroid/landlist/

Eventually i want all three "sites" to not be so mutually exclusive. Though they all link back to eachother where needed, its obviously not cohesive the way it is.

If you like instant photography, enjoy. If not, at least tell me what you find about the site just by looking around.

THANKS!

I shall answer your question with a statment ...

Thursday I bought a Polaroid Spirit 600 (the one with the snazzy hipster rainbow stripe) and a Polaroid Auto 450 (now I have three pack film Polas).

Got them both for 8.00 ... will easily resell on the bay for 50-60 combined. (If I can make myself sell them, lol)

my site is always being updated and looking for comments and suggestions.

As to the person who bought some 600 cameras and want to resell...wait until the PX600 film is released.

The folding SX-70, and even rainbow rigid style ones, have spiked in pricing by 1000% or more in some cases just because they released PX100...

I am woefully aware of this. I am looking for an SX-70 and a copal shutter to hack a 250 into a manual camera, but I haven't been able to snag either. SX-70 cameras have jumped from 50-60 bucks to 200-300 in some cases. I seen a last run SX-70 go for 700+.

I have my interstate army (up to 17 people in 12 states!) of camera hunters on the trail of a SX-70, but with no luck yet.

Seriously?

I *cringed* when I had to pay for one on eBay in very, very good condition for $96 (camera only - no box or paperwork... :( ).

Glad to help instant photography!

Yeah, I just wish I could find the needed shutter/lens for less than like 100.00. Love my Polaroids, but Im a little nervous about spending 100+ on a part for a 10.00 camera when I have never modified one before. It is pretty straightforward, but its a little more technical than when I fix corroded battery compartments or tear down rangefinders to realign/clean them, lol.
