Do you miss anything from Android?

I am currently an Android/Windows user but tired of the usual garbage being put out and want something that works and thinking of making the jump to Apple.

For those of you that went from Android to Apple for your phone and/or tablet - is there anything that you miss from Android that Apple just can't do for you?

I miss the more robust notifications of android a lot. I miss some of the gestures in android (swipe away notifications swipe up for google now etc). Google now. Bigger screen. Notification light. Option for wireless charging. Widgets not too much but a little. I'll think of more I'm sure.

My plan is to keep my iPhone 5 and have the next nexus phone.

Using both simultaneously here is what drives me nuts with iOS;

1. Having to swipe up or down a million times to get to the bottom of a long website or document. (This is so fracking annoying!)
2. No back button
3. Can't choose which apps are default (i.e. clicking a link always forces me to use Safari) or simply can't change from the default app at all (aka the iOS keyboard)
4. No access to the file system, which is critical and why every computer in the world allows this access to a user.

The back button is what always gets me the most though. Every time I'm using my iPod and I want to get out of an app, my thumb instinctively goes to where the back button should be.

Great point About the scrolling. Much fast on android. But the touch to go to the top on iOS is really really helpful.

Yes, that is a nice feature built in to iOS. I wish Android would build in a quick double tap to top and bottom feature within the stock browser. Boat browser has virtual buttons that do this and it can be very handy, especially on forums when you have 40 posts per page.

back button- you really have to use one to understand. I can't use my iPhone 5 properly because i'm looking for the back button instinctively

If you really value stability and a phone that you can grab and go with reliable updates then get an iPhone. I am not trying to start a debate, but there is no doubt that the iPhone is more stable. Certain things are easier especially if you already have a lot of apple products.

Define more stable. OS or app? My S3/Note2 can go for months without self-rebooting or hang requiring a reboot. In fact, I can't remember any time the phone has crashed. I do encounter apps that crashed but they never caused the phone to crash.

My HTC One hasn't crashed at all since I bought it while my iPhone 4s crashed once a week at least. I tried restoring and even took it to an Apple store. My wife is having the same issues with her iPhone 4s. I I don't have anything good to say about the stability of the iPhone after iOS 6.1.x.

I meant the apps, not the OS. Same thing with fluidity. The OS is smooth and the lag mostly comes from apps.
