do you NEED address book??

i dont have address book, i think i deleted it on accident a while ago. i re-installed bundled software and its not there. can i get it somehow? if i put the contacts in from the phone will it delete them wen i connect it cuz i dont have address book?

Go the the 'Preferences' in Address Book. There's something to the effect of not overwriting contacts.

You can reinstall just the Address Book application from your OS X install disc.

i wish i can get it though. it would be easier to type in all my contacts.. any ideas how to get it?

In Address book, go up to Help, then click on Help. It's a ridiculously easy program. You'll figure it out.
