I used to have Apple Card, Apple Cash Card, primary bank card, and a credit card in case I have an emergency.

Now I added a credit union card, local store debit card and their credit card (I shop there a lot and get 5% cash back). But after doing a restore on iPhone and setting them all back up, it feels like some are redundant.

I got to wondering how many cards others have in their wallet.

I add all the ones I can, but only about half of them are compatible with Apple Wallet. I recently learned that my auto insurance cards can go in it so I added those too. Ultimately I’d love to have my drivers license in there too, but Oregon is unlikely to ever allow it.

Yeah, same with Texas.

I thought we were going to be able to add door keys in there too. I'd love to add my gym and work keys in there.

The way they’ve designed licenses is just … odd honestly. Colorado supports it and it’s just a picture of a ram on a mountain with first name and last initial. It uses Face ID to prove it’s you but all the details are buried in the info button. I assume authorities have your head shot and info on their side when you authenticate. Also, only 4 airports support it for air travel and I’ve found no other stores, etc does.

Literally haven’t used it yet. You’re not missing out.

To answer the OPs question, all the cards that I have that are supported are in mine.

I have my primary credit card, secondary (Apple) credit card, primary debit card, secondary debit card, and HSA card (for doctors/pharmacies). Possibly overkill but it takes 5, maybe 10 minutes to set up when I change phones (so like once every 3 years).

I wish Lowe’s supported Apple Pay; I get 5% off with their card but c’est la vie.

When was the last time you checked that?

My local store’s debit card also gives back 5% cash back. It was never able to be added in for the last couple of years but I tried it last week and it works now!
