iPad Do you recommend a Smart Cover for the iPad Air?

The iPad Air will be in an SF BAGS slip case when not in use. When taken out of the home, it will be in the slip case too and then put in their Musetto bag. Would you recommend a Smart Cover too? On my iPad 4 I found the cover added weight and flopped a bit. Mainly use iPad in bed.

I have them for the 4 and although I used them inside for a while it dawned on me they were not needed, added weight, and decreased ventilation, for indoors. But that's only if you never travel with it, which is probably unlikely.

If you take it on the road (for any extended time period) you need 'out of sleeve' protection.

Sound like this would be an extraneous purchase for you. Especially at the $80 for the leather.
