Hello everyone

this is my first post with my new account, (cant remember other ones password)

I was looking at getting a Leica D Lux 3 as a side kick camera for my Nikon slr. I have seen that Panasonic have a new model out the Lx3, It looks as though it would become the next Leica. Only downside that I see to it is that its only a 2.5x zoom

Do you rekon its still worth the purchase of the D Lux 3?

I think even the previous model is great. I've seen it for sale too at reduced price. A few less pixels but that does not matter. If a Dlux4 does come out the price of the 3 will drop. But then if you need a camera now, and would use it then buy it now.

yeah thats what i thought and the extra zoom range is good to have aswell

any other opinions? any would be very much appreciated
