I have always been so prententious about this, I have always asked for people's last names whenever getting new numbers, I'm only 20 so I rarely see people my age with an organized address book. I always see people with like 6 Jessicas (I have 5) in their phone all labeled the same! I would go crazy. Do you save the first AND last name of everyone in your contacts?

No, since I always give some indicator to tell me the difference between people with the same name. I have mine sorted by first name, since that's how I usually think of people. Must be nice to have FIVE jessica's!

Did someone say 5 Jessicas? :D

I don't. Some of the numbers I've deleted as they were retrieved from nights out. Others run before I can get their last name. Others I just don't have.

It's always fun to be scrolling through your contacts the next day and say.... "Who the hell was that?!" Oh college, how I miss thee.

I put down only last names. This way only I know who my contacts are and I can always differentiate them. People think I'm weird for doing that though.

Well past college and gimme a dark bar and a few drinks and I'm golden. Turn the lights on ... well no last name for me!

As in the size of? ;)

I thought this was your pic?

Edit: Back on topic. I have you down as jessica Hot!

On my old cell phone, I only used last initials or last names to differentiate people with the same first name. Otherwise my caller ID truncated the names awkwardly because first + last didn't fit on the display.

On my iPhone, everyone is listed as first + last name. It's cleaner and more organized. I also have a photo for nearly everyone. :)

First and Last, I have over 200 contacts with many duplicates (9 Sarah's???)

Only 20 or so have pictures, but I'm working on it...

Depends...if there's more than one person of that first name, I'll do at least a last initial or full last name. If it's a business related contact, I'll do a full name, I figure it looks more professional (not that anyone else will ever see it though). But if it's not work related and the only one of that name, I'll just do first name.
