i have seen some heated discussions about resolution of iPhones vs competition where users claim that they can see pixels and that the resolution is annoying. Do you see pixels?
Most people who claim to see pixels at normal viewing distance just have a bit of dust on the screen, or the screen's a little grotty. Basically, they haven't a clue.
I see pixels on my 6s at a normal viewing distance which is one of the main reasons I'm going 7 Plus this time around. It's most notable for me with text. I can see jagged outlines of most letters when reading text, which gets really annoying with extended periods of reading.
Thanks. That's interesting and explains a lot. The general idea that 300 dpi is enough is based on 12 inch viewing distance. If yours is 8-10 inch, you need resolution at least 350-430 dpi if my math is correct.
