First the Alpha and now the note you have to believe this is the direction they are heading. Maybe we will see this kind of look on hopefully the next note 8.0 tablet even though there has been no news on If or when the next verision is.

With the metal on the Note 4, I was pleasantly surprised; especially since you can still replace the battery and add a micro sd card. A similar designed Note tablet would be nice. Maybe, now that they've got their flagship phones introduced, they can work (or complete work) on new Note tabs? Hopefully, their work with Tizen isn't interfering?
