Since the new 5,4” small iPhone 12 was leaked, I was thrilled to have a smaller iPhone for the first time in many years. Finally I could easily handle my iPhone with one hand.

However, with iOS 14 new widgets and PiP features, as well as being able to trigger the Control Center with just a double tap on the back (reaching the top right corner won’t be an issue anymore) I have started to question myself if a small iPhone is the best decision.

This thread is aimed to all first gen SE lovers and people who were really thrilled to have a small iPhone again. Looks like this time, having one more inch really matters...

And seems like that tapping not working on SE2020 is a trick to make us regret it and want to move to one that does. Along with still not fixing the long press on the lock screen. What is the oldest model the back tapping works on?

As much as I love the idea of having widgets (using the battery widget on my XS home screen) I wouldn't hesitate to ditch the widgets for the form factor/weight advantages of the 5.4".

As far as I know, iPhone X. I’m yet to know if iPhone 8 (which is essentially the same phone with different design and screen) supports it, but honestly I’m not too optimistic.
