Upcoming Macs will almost always be more expensive regardless of what TSMC does or doesn't do, or any other reason. Apple didn't become a gazillion-dollar company because they give things away. See $19 USD microfibre cloth, for example.

youre talking nonsense.macs dont usually get more expensive year after year

I would be concerned about military action on Taiwan by China, since they are in Taiwan. it is not for nothing that Apple is financing a move to a FAB plant for them into the USA.

The increased prices will be offset by Apple not having to pay Intel markup. It’ll be a wash. Not saying prices won’t go up but if they do then it won’t be just because of the chip shortage.
