Do you think that Apple Retail Stores (in San Diego area specifically) will sell out of the new Apple TV by 3:30PM on release day? 3:30 because I am unable to show up at the store until then :(
Please, no one tell me to order it online, because that's not an option for me, right now ;)

Already a thread on this found here.

Conclusion was that the Apple TV is extremely unlikely to sell out. You have nothing to worry about.

yeah I agree with that. They will have them on stock. Not lots, since they won't make lots, because they know they won't sell that many

I doubt it. Most people don't know about their existence, I'm sure the first few shipments will have a lot more in them than if it was a regular shipment.

ONly your store will sell out. Rest will have some in stock. Good luck.

Along with all the Best Buys in his area and when he goes to a different city I WILL be there waiting to buy ALL of the remaining AppleTVs before him. :p

They will sell out in the first day...because apple will announce at the last min, that the ATV has some storage for Apps....

They are not going to sell out. For people that already have an Apple TV there is no compelling reason to upgrade unless you want Netflix. Otherwise the new apple TV is more of a downgrade then an upgrade. I would not be worried on not being able to finding one on release day at the Apple Store or at a Best Buy if they are stocking them on day one or a day or two later.
