Sigh, more money to spend and sadly it seems I am now a headphones/earbuds collector in addition to all my Mac stuff ( don’t need the justification, I’m on medical retirement and audio gets a good workout when I’m using the free highspeed wifi during dialysis.
I forgot (age) to snag Beats Studio Pro’s when they were 1/2 price during Prime last week. I’m looking fora good pair of on ear/over ear cans b/c unless I get the absolute earbud tips, they can fall out when I headbang.
The only on-ears i have are Monster Crusher ANC2’s(??) and Sony WH-1000XM3’s, which I think suck; but I never put time into optimizing. The APP2s are dialed in nicely with good sound (Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Hawkwind, Saxon and other metal). So now something with a bit more playing capacity would be nice (20+ hours or so with ANC on and spatial audio preferably for late night classical listening).
Cats would def have a harder time lugging around those when they slip off my head during late night in bed listening. Having the ability to use USB-c connections would also be nice. Am aware of the AirPods Max, just don’t like how they look (I know, petty).
