Do you use Raise to Wake?

I had RTW turned off on my 7Plus, but have it on on my X. With Face ID it just makes for a quicker and smoother unlock process

Raise to wake.
Rest finger to open.

No way FID is as reliable and as fast.

Rest finger to open is great, I used it on my 6S. Sadly, Touch ID was not reliable for me.

And FID is more reliable and just as fast, sorry ;)

Do you guys use Raise to Wake on your iPhone X? Coming from an iPhone 6 I didn’t have that feature but I had seen it on my friends’ newer iPhones and I always thought it was a nice feature. But now that I have the iPhone X every time I grab it to pick it up I touch screen even without wanting to and it turns on, so I ended up disabling Raise to Wake. I felt it was turning on all the time.

I’m just curious to see what you guys have set it up to.

I use both raise and tap. Both very useful at different situations.

What I don’t understand is why some people disable it. Even if you don’t use it, why turn it off? You don’t have to use it often, and it can still be useful from time to time, so why not keep it on?

When the raise to wake first came out, I found it annoying, but I left it on for a while to give it ago and ended up finding it pretty useful.
