Recently I've turned on the Stage Manager feature and I've been using it for few days.
But I'm not sure if it is really helpful in any way.
How's your experience with Stage Manager? Does it help to improve your workflow?

I tried it for a few weeks when it came out. I wanted to like it. I like having many apps/utilities, in addition to Finder, locked to my desktop 1, like Messages, Notes, Mail, Music etc, for tidyness. Most other spaces are full-screen apps.

Didn't suit me. Instead I'm using an app called "Quitter" which sits in the menu bar and lets me quickly set any app to quit or hide after a set period of inactivity. This gives me the tidy desktop, without Sidecar's everpresence and constantly reordering of apps.

It's been a while. Sidecar might have improved, but I found it to have a bit too big of a visual footprint, and too little customizability.

I have used it maybe for 9 months or so - I like it. I usually have about 12 apps open in 1 window, and then 2 other windows with a full screen app in each that are not affected by SM. I can do anything I want to get to other apps, that I did before - 3-finger-swipe up on the track pad to see all the apps, or slide down to the task bar and see all the apps. SM gives me the option though, that the last 5 apps I used are in view on the left side - it seems like 80% of the time I am clicking o one of them to continue work. I like to how I can click and drag an app to for example have 2 apps up at the same time, if I am doing something between the two apps. So for me, it adds capability, without taking away any capability.
