I personally still use the list view, i find it more helpful to be able to see all the sings from that album without going back and forth, plus, i wirelessly stream songs from an external hard drive and with grid view there is some lag in retrieving album art and therefor scrolling speed.

So just curious, how many people use grid mode, and why do you like it more than than coverflow/list view?

I'd like to hear the rationale for using anything except for list view in day-to-day usage.

List for me too , grid view would only be good for a party etc

yeah, i feel like they should have made grid view a Frontrow feature with mouse support. Fullscreen graphical interface would be better for parties and stuff, make it ultra simple so anybody can pick music.

I guess I'm the only one who uses grid view lol...I like it becuase I like look through all the artist's under "album artist" then clicking it and seeing all the albums...there's no lag on my macbook with grid view so i don't see why not to use it...

Grid view is what finally got my mom to start using iTunes. I guess it's nostalgic; almost like flipping through her old record collection...

I use grid view or cover flow, never list view. The reason I do this is because 99% of the time I listen to my music by album, not by single song. Because of this I don't need to be able to see a list of every song on every album, just the album itself. Grid view and cover flow work great for that.

The 1% of time I want to find one specific song I either locate the album and go from there or I use the search bar.
