download the retro dialer app. open it. inside it you will see to sets of apps. one of them is the original set and another will have ALT in the title. i liked the look of the alternate icons so i deleted the others then you need to remove ALT from the title for them to work. If you like the originals, then delete the alterenates

Now use winscp to ssh to the phone. look for the applications forlder I believe. just use the arrow up folder. Then look for mobilephone.app folder. Then I would make a copy of this folder and store it on your computer, in the event that you ever want to go back to the original.

Then open your retro dialer app and drag all the items in that folder into the mobilephone.app folder. Your retro folder may have a thumbnail folder in it, so delete this first. All other files including icons and some plain files must be dragged into the mobile phone folder.

That is it, reset your phone and you will have a custom phone dialer.

Hope this helps, I will hook up my phone later and look for the exact location of the folder if you cant find it.
