Hi all,
I want to be able to easily swap out my personal Mac mini from my work MacBook. These two computers will share a monitor, meeting webcam, mouse, and keyboard. Both the mouse and keyboard automatically connect to the last computer used, so I was going to just plug them into the dock so they will auto-connect to correct computer.
I have been currently using a dock, and then just reconnecting the USB-C from the dock to whichever computer I am using (this can happen frequently during the week). Is this the most efficient way to do so? I have a j5create dock that is ok, but was looking at the Plugable UD-6950PDH. Not sure if it meets my needs. I like the ports it provides, but seems like geared towards the normal use for a dock.
Any ideas? I have searched posts and cannot find this specific topic. Apologies if posted elsewhere.
Thanks!
