Dock and badges

Hello,
I changed my dock without winterboard and now my badges aren't showing i.e. my email just shows the numbers of new emails, but not the red circle. Also cydia just displays the number without a red circle. Just wondering what I did wrong, the only thing I did was ssh into my phone and change the dock .png file. Any help would be appreciated.

I found out what was wrong. When I went to change the dock image I had accidently changed the badges icon. I realized what I did and went to rename the badges icon but I left a period at the end of the filename. I ssh'd and took the period out, respring and now my badges are showing.
