Since updating to 10.12.1 I have been having an issue with the dock. I have it set to autohide and when I hover the mouse over the dock, it freezes. If I move the mouse very slowly, it behaves normally. Anyone have any ideas on a fix?

If the dock isn't set to autohide, it behaves normally. The autohide docks works fine if I create a new user account. I have also tried deleting the dock.plist and running killall Dock command in terminal

What you've tried would be my suggestion as the second step, so let's go back to step one: try a Restart. (Always begin with the most basic remedy.)

If that doesn't help, my third step would be to log in under a different user account, a new account if you only have created one so far. If this account is fine, I'd bite the bullet and move all files to it and make it the main account. Once you're satisfied that all is well, delete the old one. Yeah, you'd rather know what the problem is and fix it, but that takes time, and there's football to watch!
