iPad Dock has became dark after safe mode?

For some reason, after my iPad resprung into safe mode, when back in normal mode, my dock and folders are darker than they were before?

Any ideas what could be causing this? I installed hidemex a few days ago, but have tried disabling it and respringing, but it doesn't seem to help. Thought I might have accidentally changed something in there.

Any ideas?

No-one able to help? Is there an app that is compatible with iOS 10 that I can use to force it to change back?

No, I've checked that. Any other ideas.
