I have been having an issue with my dock, I can not get the reflection to work! I've tried everything and no reflection. I don't have any tweak that would prevent it from working. Anyone know what the cause of this could be? Thanks!

Are you using Springtomize by chance? I believe there's a setting in there that turns off the reflection. I remember that tripped someone else up a while back.

Yeah I do use springtomize but I don't have that setting turned off. I even tried deleting springtomize and the relfection still would not show. There is a Mask with the dock when I change the name of the mask it reflects the icons on the dock but it also relfects the icons on my springboard.

Hey, so you just need a reflective dock mask to add to your dock. So, DL one of these docks from here.

Download the very last dock on the page or one that suits you as they are weaker and stronger relections. Then extract the file called SBDockMask@2xpng. Now paste that file into your existing dock file and the mask will apply after a respring giving it a reflection. If it doesn't work initially, go into whatever theme you have and go to bundles/com.apple.springboard and remove the same file as mentioned above (the SBDockMask@2x.png). That could be overiding the mask you applied to your dock with the file.

OK, that's odd. A dock mask for the iPhone 5, for example, is 118x120--it's not like it's full screen. I'm not sure how it could possibly affect the undocked icons.

Which dock/theme are you using that does this?

Regardless, Frenchjay's suggestion should work. If need be, put the reflection in its own theme, and place that theme above everything else in Winterboard. That will override the problem if there's another dock mask hiding in one of your theme folders. Make sure to toggle both themes in Winterboard, then respring--that can help when cached images resist changing.

Yeah I know it's very weird and it's the first time it has happened to me. I am going to try Frenchjay's suggestion. Thank you both for your help!
