Has anybody noticed in Sonoma that when you have the Dock's "Position on Screen" set to "Bottom", that it's NOT on the bottom anymore? EVERY previous past MacOS it was all the way on the bottom – it's now 9x pixels up...

Not the end of the world by any means but I CONSTANTLY switch from full-screen apps, to apps/programs where the dock is visible, and it's now raised up from the bottom... and the pixels then swim around the entire bottom strip of the screen (BELOW the Dock). It's especially annoying with contrasting colors to the current app...

That changed with the UI overhaul in macOS Big Sur, back in 2020. Do an image search for "macOS <name> dock" and you'll see that in all version of macOS beginning with Big Sur. It's separated when placed on the sides too.

Here is an image of the dock in Big Sur.

Yeah, I was looking up screenshots of Sonoma (only) before posting this - seems to be normal. Only accessible older macOS system I have right now is my Mojave server where the Dock is ALL the way to the bottom like I prefer... just annoying and was seeing if there was a fix (maybe one of those tweaking tools might have something for it...).

I don't think there is anything you can do. Know that it's just a visual change. The active pixels for clicking still extend all the way to the edge of the screen.
