Can you dock an ipad mini if so what adaptor do you need?

If you find a 30-pin dock, you'll need the Lightning to 30-pin adapter. If the dock has a Lightning connector, you won't need an adapter.

I use iPhone iPad Dock Connector to VGA Adapter, watch slideshows and movies on the big screen by connecting my iPad to TV or LCD display that needs a VGA connector

You should really see about the digital HDMI version. I'd bet your TV's HDMI signal looks much better than your VGA signal.

i reckon i'm going to end up buying a new dock in addition to keeping old docks as well as needing a Lightning to 30-pin Adapter.
