it's always the same dock... for iPod classic, touch and nano. i guess it will just ship with an adapter for the universal dock with remote.

Apple will not offer a dock for it like they do for say the iPhone 4 or 3G(S). But the universal dock will support it and they will probably sell universal dock inserts soon at 3 for $9. Just like they did for the iP4. Assume 30-60 days before units of the universal dock include a new Nano insert as they sell out old supply of the universal docks.

It'll be around eventually, usually there's a ton of iPod accessories for every generation, not just from Apple but from third parties as well.
