Hey everybody!

I am going to be getting my first MAC when my new MBA 13.3" 4GB RAM ships this week. I ordered this past saturday night and it has already changed status from "not yet shipped" to "prepared to ship"!!!!

Okay, on to my main question...

I have searched around a bit and saw some solutions but I am wondering how you guys will be docking your new MBAs. I plan on having a monitor, external hdd, speakers among other things to connect every time i get home with my MBA.

How will you guys be docking? What will be your set up? Do you have an elegant solution for docking your MBA? Will you be using a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse?

Many thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing from everyone!
:)

Turn it into a desktop...kind of yes since it will be sitting on top of my desk fairly often. I frequently take the train to the city and so I chose the MBA. Speed wise as a desktop it is more than capable for what I do.

Anyone for posting something helpful? :)

i think an easy way of doing it would be getting the 27" ACD with the connections built in and then getting a bluetooth keyboard and mouse of your choice. not the cheapest but easy

Look in the Picture Gallery of Set-Ups. That is where I got a lot of my ideas from.
I got an HP monitor, a wireless Apple Keyboard, and Bluetooth Logitech Mouse.
I have Bose Companion IIIs and a Rain Design mStand to dock my MBP.

Hope that helps.

I use mine as a desktop when I'm at home. I bought Monoprice's DVI to Mini DisplayPort cable. It's more flexible than the DVI to Mini DP adapter and easier to plug in/unplug.

Other than the monitor, I plug in the MagSafe power and USB Apple Keyboard. Could eliminate the keyboard by buying a Bluetooth one.

Plugging in the MagSafe and Mini DP connectors is very quick...don't really need a true docking solution.

This is something I am interested in as well. Since my MBA is going to be used for light stuff and my custom desktop PC for the heavy stuff I am thinking of getting a KVM switch.

Has anyone had experience with one?

I'm considering the mStand too.

Has anyone tried it with their MBA?
