iPad Pro Documents app issue

Because I have a Win 10 PC I have to use Documents app as it works much better than the Files app. As I copied pictures from my Photos app to Documents, there is the issue that the pictures show up very small when I click on them and I always have to zoom in on them even though they are big. In the Photos app they show up full size. What causes this?

Is it a low resolution photo?

No they are high res. It opens full screen in the Photos app. The Documents app also has a few sample pictures and they also open normally filling the screen. Only the pictures that I imported from Photos show up small in the middle of the screen and I have to zoom in on them.
