Is anyone else having problems with opening Numbers files stored in iCloud Documents? I have a number of spreadsheets that I moved to iCloud and now I can't open them in Numbers on my Mac. I was able to open a couple on my iPad but whenever I try to open on my Mac I just get the spinning beach ball. I then go to Force Quite eventually and it says Numbers is not responding. This is not acceptable and I am going to have to move back to just using DropBox completely.

Update to my problem - everything seems to be working okay now. I am not sure at all what was happening but for some reason I was unable to open any documents I stored on iCloud. All is fine now though.

I created a document in iCloud and it is working fine but I am concerned about no organization. I understand we will not have folders like iDisk but I would have thought I would be able save documents in something like projects or something. Right now it appears that if I have 1,000 documents they will simply be a 1 long list. Like putting all of files in the ROOT of your hard drive. Am I missing something?

You can create folders. Just drag one file on top of another. Just like IOS.

True, but you can only create folders in the top-most level. In other words, you cannot nest folders within an app's document browser. For apps that don't explicitly support iCloud, you can go into your library folder (hidden since OS X 10.7) and create a sync folder, which can have as many nested folders as you wish, similar to iDisk.
