Just got the update to the Exchange Edition of the app, now called Documents To Go Premium. Doesn't look like the standard version update is out yet.

V3 brings PowerPoint editing as well as access to attachments in my gmail account. I've only had a brief play with it, but ppt / pptx editing seems to work well. I've not been able to get the gmail access working yet. I'll update this thread when I figure out how to set it up.

IMO this update makes this THE best office suite app for the iPhone.

I can't seem to find a way to add a gmail account, just MS Exchange.

They updated only the version with Exchange support to include ppt editing and re-branded it DTG Premium. Sounds like they're guilty of the same thing Quickoffice did in downgrading MobileFiles Pro to Quicksheet and not including Word editing.

Works well with Google, yay! Finally I can access my attachments on my iphone. For those that want the info, settings I used for Google are as follows:

Server: m.google.com
Domain: (left blank)
Username: yourusername@gmail.com (or googlemail.com)
Password: your password
Use SSL: ON

Set the sync period you want and go fetch.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7D11 Safari/528.16)

Using m.google.com as the server did the trick. Thanks!
