“Documents” can’t be opened because the original item can’t be found" dialog appears when I click on the documents folder. The iCloud folder appears. The document and folder is checked in iCloud. I migrated to a new mac yesterday.

I already solved the problem. First I unchecked in iCloud, wait a few moments, rechecked it, a they appeared in the proper folders. The two empty folders are duplicates. I held down rhe cntrl key and clicked on each empty folder and it gave you the option to delete them. Problem solved. It was the end result of Migration Assistant process.
