Just wondering.
2017 iPhones are rumored to be getting lightning ports with USB-c fast charging. Since the 12.9 iPP already has fast charging (plus USB 3.0 data transfer which iPhone may not get) does that mean the 12.9 already has a USB-c lightning port?
I've seen many people on this forum including myself express desire for USBc to come to the iPP. It would be funny to think it had it the whole time. Of course, it's not full USBc in any case since it doesn't transport video. And it still uses the lightning plug. I'm fine with the plug but I sure would like for the iPP to act as a native external display.
So second part to the question: do you think full USBc with video (via lightning port) will come to the iPP in the near future?
