Does 3G3 support Exchange contacts and calendar synch?

Newbie to the forum. (Did a Search; didn't see what I was looking for)
Considering a 3GS.
I know that it will support Exchange emails.
But will it, in any way, sync Contacts and Calendar from Exchange as well?

Additionally, the 3G (and maybe the 2G) support this. I believe this was a software, not a hardware, feature (beyond some support for encryption present only in the 3GS).
