Does a keyboard protector needed for new macbook?

I just got my new macbook last week. I'd like to buy a keyboad protector (or you call it a keyboard skin? whatever).

But somebody told me that will affect the cooling of MB. Is that so?
And the keyboard of new MB is different as you know. So does anyone know whether the skin at apple online store will match the new keyboard?

From the looks of my blackbook, it doesn't look like you would need a kb protector. Most KB get that oily feeling and greasy look, but the mb kb seems to hold up well to it. I would cover the spacebar though, because you can definitely see where grease builds up from the oils on your finger.
