Does Airtel Thanks app really do anything about Call Blocking & Identification

iOS 18.0.1: Airtel Thanks app is showing in iPhone Settings > Apps > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification.
What happens if the toggle button for this app is switched ON in the iPhone Settings. It is not giving me caller ID on an incoming call.
What does the Airtel Thanks app do in this situation.
