Does Album Art count as 'Other'?

I'm syncing my phone because I just organized my library, and its saying 3.25GB of Music(WHILE its syncing) and with every song the 'OTHER' goes up ~1MB. All I did this sync was add Album Art. right now the other is at 392 and my Music is 3.58 and Apps 227

I think that an mp3 has a id tag, and there its Instal in the mp3 the cover art, lyrics etc, but it remains a single mp3 not an mp3 + data
so no it donsnt count as other

No, the way that the iPod, and subsequently the iPhone, transfers music requires the database to increase in size with additional songs being added. You'll see it vary all the time.
