I know for a long time they did not, just wondering if they do now?
more specifically a Galaxy phone?
more specifically a Galaxy phone?
yea android device manager is built into the OS, dont remember when it was implemented 4.3 or something maybe? First it was a separate app, now integrated
I kinda remember that now.
how does it work?
There is a free app called CM Security which has that feature.
Kill switch was supposed to of been embedded into 5.0 but it is being released with 5.1 now.
Not needed with Android Device Manager, just another thing to clutter up the device if you do install it.
I saw that in one of the reviews of the update. One catch, it's not on any of the devices yet and MAY only be on devices that ship with 5.1. This is somewhat unrelated as Android Device Manager has been able to lock the device and ring an alert as well as display a message on the screen.
