I really dislike the new Notification Center. Don't like that the tab for today's view is gone. I don't like that it doesn't stay on today's view... Every time I open notification Center I have to swipe back over there now.. And it doesn't show the date.

Today view is not gone. It only appears when you're not on the home screen. If you're at the home screen, it doesn't show because it's it's to the left of the first page.

I think my Notification Center is a bit buggy. The notifications stay on my screen until I dismiss them. Then, they totally go away and aren't in NC.

I think it's great that they took cues from the Apple Watch. The notification panels look and feel more "tactile."

Is there a way to change the ordering of the notifications? I prefer to have them sorted by app and don't see the option anymore.
I was wondering this myself. I fear that the separated design of the new notifications is by nature incompatible with sorting them by app. I'd love to be wrong on that, though!

I'm a bit confused by NC right now. To access widgets while on home screen, I have to first get to page one, then swipe right. Within an app, I have to swipe down from top, then swipe right. But on home screen if I swipe down, there is no access to widgets. Just a beta 1 oversight?

Design wise, this time Apple copies Android Marshmallow (or earlier version?) on NC useability.
Selectively dismiss notifications? Now it acts more like Marshmallow does.
I have no experience using Marshmallow, just from video.
I like this design, but only hope new notification does not block my game play otherwise I would be extremely angry.

The only thing I don't like is the giant Missed title... And why missed? Are they notifications not acted upon after some time? It is odd UX.

But if you have 5 pages of apps, you have to swipe all the way to the left to access today view.
Or just press the home button which will take you to the first/main home screen. Or alternatively tap by the screen dots at the bottom above the dock to navigate left or right.

It's the return of the Missed section of the Notification Center that was there on iOS 7 and was then removed.

Are you just offering a workaround, or suggesting that that is an acceptable approach? Because if it is the latter, it isn't.
