does anybody know if it is a safe to upgrade itunes to 9

if i upgrade tp 9 will i still be able to ad carrier setting like i did with 3,0 and 8.2 itunes. wondering if i ever had to rejailbreak and i was at 9.0 if it will let me do 3.0 with 5.5 carrier setting which is cool i put it on plenty friends 3,0 scared to go to 9.0 help

iTunes 9.0.x won't cause you any problems with using a JB phone

You can always refer to DevTeam blog as they posted on this some time ago.

but will istill be able to load the 5.5 update with 9.0 remember im on 3.0 and it working fine.

with a simple terminal command you can. google for that i forgot exactly where i found it
