Here's an update from them:
So, here is a question: What took us so long to release nPlayer 3.0? Please let us tell you why.
First, nPlayer 3.0 is a whole new version that has been designed all over again. So we've got some homework to do; To deal with stability, performance, new functions and bugs (errors). However, thanks to all the hard-working beta testers, the program is pretty much stable now. Thank you, beta testers! We very much appreicate your effort!
Second, from this June, all iOS apps should support 64 bit for updates. We have not officially announced this, however, as you all know, nPlayer 3.0 can only be updated when DTS Codec as well as Dolby Codec support 64bit. For sure, we need some more time to renew the license concerned. And yet, the good news is we have done the program development and only have got some paperwork. (Yeah!)
Finally, nPlayer supports Chromecast and Smart TV! Now you can send any video from nPlayer to TV and it is going to be an exciting experience for you to see the video is played on TV! Just one thing that too many different kinds of smart TVs are out there... It wouldn't be better if we can afford smart TVs for every one of you but since it does not sound feasible, we are working from door to door.
Dear nPlayer users! We sincerely apologize for the delay and would like to ask you to be a bit more patient. By sharing the current situation, we seek your kind understanding while answering to your questions and advices. With n Player 3.0, we will work harder to meet your expectation.
Thank you all for your support to n Player!
Basically means:
