I just wanted to know how well does PKGbackup work?

Is it easy to restore all your JB tweaks?

I have used it in the past and it works pretty well, though it can be a little buggy sometimes. However, I don't have much use for it now that I can't restore and re-jailbreak.

As long as it gets the job done as I need to do a restore :)

Define easy =) PKGBackup used to be pretty straight forward but some time ago the creator, in his infinite wisdom decided to add a couple of features which made it pretty darn difficult to navigate yr way properly. At least for me - an average Joe w/ 30 years in IT.... :D

I have it. And it works. But the dev says it has a scheduling feature and still has yet to describe how to make that work. The screen shots were recently updated but the options section still does not reflect what my screen shows. It's an entirely different thing.

I bought the app based on the assumption that it can schedule backups. So far all I see is an option to schedule Calendar to REMIND you to back up. It does not actually do any backups automatically unless you open the app with it set to backup when opened.

I think there is probably some confusion because the dev probably does not speak English natively. I'm told that older versions actually had the ability to automatically backup on a schedule. Again, that seems to be missing in the newer versions.

does it even matter? cant u redownload all your paid apps anyway?

You must be jocking.. Downloads take extra time + useless overwhelm on repo servers.

I would like a solution that backups not only cydia tweaks but also appstore data, messages, call history, browser bookmarks, etc.
