I haven‘t been able to get the Braided Loop yet, but after several hours with the Solo Loop I couldn’t stand it any longer. The measurement worked great and I got a good fit, but the regular Solo Loop isn’t very stretchy. I like my watchbands loose and I adjust them throughout the day. Not being able to adjust the Solo Loop really bothers me. It felt contstrictive and claustrophobic on my arm. I am returning it to Apple. I wondered if the Braided Loop might be better since it is more stretchy and breathable, but again the lack of being adjustable would probably bother me again.Just tried the braided Solo Loop and I could tell it was making my wrist itchy in 5 minutes. Anyone else experience something similar?
I found it sweaty as heckI have the non braided version and I find it slightly itchy. Well, not so much itchy, but it somehow makes my skin feel a bit irritated/unhappy. It's not an allergy but it's really not comfortable. Not sure if it is the material or something else...
So much as I like the idea of the solo loop, I'm going to return it. Back to the sports bands for me...
I found it uncomfortable after a few hours. Since it’s elastic and for it to work, it is slightly constricting. Left ”marks” on the skin. My favorite band for references are sport loops.
That is so totally wrong. It does not have to be tight. Apple calls it the relaxed fit size. Try it.
If its too relaxed (ie next size up 10), it slides up and down which is more annoying to me. even apple recommends a slightly tighter fit.
when i put it on at first, its actually very comfortable. just after a few hours it gets uncomfortable. probably a side effect of slight constriction and a small amount of sweat. keep in mind everyone has different experiences.
I'm pretty sure most folks use it without issue, but i am sure there are a minority who after using it didn't enjoy the experience. if you want to discount someone else's experience by telling them they are totally using it wrong, then there is really nothing else for me to say.
My 8 is relaxed and does not slide up and down. Is your comment based on using the relaxed size or presumption.
its called going to the physical apple store and trying 8, 9, 10.
Not the same. If you measured using the sizing tool and went with the loser fit (1 up) I disagreed with you that it would be so loose that it would slide up and down, or move around.
My point is that there is too much emphasis on tight. I see dozens of pictures with a tight fit. That cannot be comfortable or make the watch wearable for long periods. I dont care what they might say, in the end they will get a looser fit or stop using the band.
