All iPads Does anyone else find typing a post on this forum on an iPad on iOS 13 insufferable?

These seems to be a compatibility problem either with iOS 13’s desktop Safari view or the MacRumors redesign, but typing a post on an iPad here is more difficult and frustrating than it is on any other site. Selecting text is difficult and unpredictable and sometimes when backspacing, it will backspace 2 spaces instead of 1.

Are you guys running into this problem too, or is it just me? I have no problems typing a post on my iPhone or my Mac.

No, no issues here. However as @ScreenSavers mention... you can use Tapatalk. I tend to use that more on my iPad and iPhone. I keep Tapatalk in SlideOver view for when notifications come though... it's pretty sweet.

And I bought the Tapatalk Pro app years ago, so I don't have to deal with the in-app business model that they have now.

I’ve been a pro subscriber for a few years now. Otherwise the ads are awful.

I have witnessed this. But the problems seem to change over time. I’m thinking it might be iOS rather than the forums.

How do you find other forums?

FaceBook is bad thou if using Safari which puts double spaces between words when posting

are you using the swiping gestures? I find that to generate the problems you are mentioning. it really is crap.
