Does anyone else suffer from incorrect sync with iCloud email?

For 5 years straight, my iCloud email does not sync correctly with any of my iOS devices (iPhones, iPads).

The email would come in correctly, but the read state would not sync across devices. Random ones would stay marked as unread and I have to manually correct it on each device every day.

This is super annoying. Anyone else?

I used to have the issue where iCloud mail wouldn't update the lock screen of read emails, but it would always update mail if I went into it, or would sync in the background after a little while. Seems fine now, though.
