Just curious. Why doesn't Apple add more icons per page on the iPad? At least they made the folder bigger.

Does anyone else think it's ridiculous that the iPhone 6 has more icons per page then the iPad?

YES! Why would that make sense to anyone at Apple. Even if you want to do 4x5 pages (another rant), at least make something bigger than 3x3 folders.
Yes, I've always wondered that myself. Aesthetically, it looks good, but functionally it is pretty bad.
iPad Pro having the exact same number of icons per page as iPad Mini looks... odd I have to admit.
I'd expect iOS 10 to revamp the homescreen interface to better fit the Pro's giant screen. Higher density of icons. I also expect it'll trickle down to the Air series too.

They should us give the option to choose the amount per page.
