I always have to wait like 10 seconds after clicking messages for it to load up properly. My phone doesn't have this problem with any other apps.

iPhone Does anyone elses Messages (or BiteSMS) app take a long time to load?

Same, plus I have a couple of messages from weeks ago that keep showing up on my lockscreen every once in a while...bizarre.

The latest beta update made the bite app load faster than ever before. It opens like the stock messages app. But if your stock app takes a long time to open, it could be the result of having a ton of conversations and a ton of mms multimedia pics and vids.
Assuming you have a lot of convos and mms, then I suggest deleting them and see if it opens any faster. If you're worried about losing them, you can back them up on your computer for safe keeping.

Does BiteSMS still crash when receiving text messages on occasion? Like make your phone boot into safe mode?
Nope. I can't find anything wrong with bite these days, especially the latest betas.
As an aside, the dev said he has a HUGE update coming which includes a new incredible feature. On Monday or Tuesday he said he'd post pictures later this week but I haven't seen anything yet. I am intrigued by the new tweak "Messages" but bite has been so good for me I won't stop using it for a tweak that only offers QC and QR whereas bite has so many additional features I use frequently. If you decide to use bite, definitely use the latest beta. That's my recommendation. Hope this helps.

I installed Bite and Abstergo a couple days ago, and every time I ended a call, my phone would crash into Safe Mode. So I assumed it was Bite, so I uninstalled it and the crashing persisted. After I uninstalled Abstergo, the problem went away. I assumed it was Bite because Bite used to crash my phone at least twice a day when receiving messages.
I hope the problem is fixed now! I noticed the speed improvement, but it's not quite as fast as the Messages app yet.
