Hi,

I have been debating cases and sleeves forever. I had planned on getting a sleeve from Waterfield (expensive but nice!) and sticking my MacBook in the laptop compartment of my EMS backpack. I really like the looks of the Timbuk2 Commute and I'd be interested how the MacBook fits in there. I know it is built for the 15", but does that leave the MB a lot of room to move around? Any comments or pictures would be great. I'm going to be traveling a lot and am also worried that without a zipper, the Timbuk2 might attract hands that can slip under the flap.

thanks,
M

I've got one I got a few years ago for my Powerbook, which I have since sold. I got a Macbook and have been using it in the commute, and it works just fine. There is a lot of extra room, but the strap keeps it secure in the padded laptop compartment. I don't have any concerns, though I am currently looking for a smaller sleeve/bag for those times when I only need my computer.

would you consider using a sleeve with the commute to give it extra padding? Is this too much?
