Does anyone have AirPods Pro Find My working properly?

I have two pairs of AirPods and the find my feature never seems to work on either. I lost an AirPod recently on a plane (on the ground, so with features on), and it just wouldn't connect or work properly. I tried recently any home, and again, it just said connecting and couldn't find them. Any positive experiences with this? AirTags work fine for me.

I lost mine a month ago and never did find them. Ended up buying new ones.

FindMy works fine with my devices and AirPods Pro 2. I did have to update all the operating systems since the AirPods Pro was a new device, but with iOS 16.1, iPadOS 16.1, and Ventura, it's all working fine. Maybe you have a setting set incorrectly? 🤷‍♀️
