Hey guys! I have a 13-Inch 2017 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. I got a crack in the screen that seems to have gotten worse in the past two days, it glitches my entire screen and I cant really scroll or click anything without my screen glitching everywhere, I can still use my laptop just fine it’s just that everything glitches and the screen is kinda messed up now.. how much would it cost me to get this fixed from Apple or a 3rd party? Any ideas? I’ve uploaded pictures too.

edit: I’m asking about US pricing here in case anyone was wondering!

It varies by country for sure. US pricing is different to Canadian pricing which is different to Australian pricing. Maybe start with those details and we can try to narrow it down.

Somebody who had it done will post, I remember seeing $600 or so. I wouldn’t take it to an independent unless that’s your only option. It’s not an easy repair. Apple will give you an estimate in store.

I did get my 2018 Pro 15" fixed with Geniuses at Apple. Costed me $730. I got quote from UbreakIFix. Its about $750.
Yours may be around ~$500. Note that they had to replace the whole display.

Realistically it'll be be around $700.

Whilst I'd normally suggest independent repair it's unlikely to be any cheaper than Apple since it's not possible to do a panel-only repair on this model - they have to replace the entire top case.
