Does anyone here know of any device that supports UPNP for video that is realatively cheap?

Im looking to stream content from my Mac workstaition to the bedrooms etc.. Currently in the living room I have a PS3 and using Nullrivers Mediaconnect it works perfrectly!

Now im trying to add a device to the bedroom as well, without having to buy another PS3 is there a DVD player or something that has the UPNP protocol built in to allow it to see the share on the network.

your ps3 streams video without problems? i can't stream any video to it. i have mediaconnect on my macbook, and tversity and orb on my mac mini (running vista) and no matter what i do i can't get more than about 15 seconds into a movie without it erroring out or pausing for a looong time. I'm considering getting an apple tv because it "pre-fetches" but the ps3 does not. Currently i have to copy files to the ps3 in advance if i wanna watch it but that's not cutting it.

(sorry i know this doesn't answer your question.)

I think it is best to get your own thread so you can get the answers your looking for instead of hijacking someone else's thread.
